I can attest to the importance of glutamine. I used it from my senior year in high school on and the after effects of making weight (no energy, 1000lb legs, etc.) disappeared even though I was cutting MORE weight those years. Thanks for another great video!

Thanx for giving creatine an “F”. I have worked with many combat athletes for many years and I never reccomended this product for any purpose. The tests which have been performed by the supplement companies are bogus just to sale their products. I have been involved in the fitness/nutrional business since the late 70′s and have learned much from this experience.

I totally agree with your support on glutamine and BCAA’s!

It’s good to hear someone in your profession to tell young athletes not to cut weight, do not use sups and enjoy the sport of wrestling!

Regarding multi vitamins; 97%-98% of these products are useless. Nearly all of them contain man-made vitamins & low grade minerals. Rarely are any on them in proper balance which makes them far less beneficial. When athletes eat properly and especially if they’re eating 80%-100% organic, they are getting all the vitamins and minerals they need; even when cutting.

I’m not much in favor of protein sups. All whey protein powders are acid forming in the blood which weakens the immune system and places greater stress on muscle growth & health. Whey isolates are fractured (broken molecular structure) which makes them less effective and a waste of money.

I always enjoy listening to you. Keep it going!

Thanks for posting your thoughts… You’re definitely on the right page!

When it comes to protein and vitamin/mineral supplements you definitely get what you pay for. It pays to shop around. In regard to Protein, I really only use 2 products these days: J Robb Protein and Prograde Protein. They are both contain no fillers, additives or artificial sweeteners…
