  1. Jeff Streu Says:

I feel that the Ultimate Wrestling Power Body Weight Training Program is perfect for me because I am a huge fan of bodyweight training and isometrics for wrestling. I have gotten tremendous gains from your weightlifting programs on this blog and wrestlingperformance.com and have been doing them since 2006, but I love the convenience of being able to get in a tough workout in a matter of minutes and without even leaving home. Plus, these exercises make wrestling practices simpler because they can be done right on the mat without equipment. I use bodyweight exercises because I have found that they work best for me to help achieve my goals and I enjoy the endless variety of movements that can be done to work muscles at different angles. I also like the idea of combining strength, conditioning, and flexibility into one workout with programs such as 6 minute conditioning. Lastly, I am highly interested in the program because of the nutrition and sports psychology resources included in it. I always trust the material you put together, Steve, and I look forward to reading it!

  2. Matthew Moy Says:

The Ultimate Wrestling Power Body Weight Training Program is perfect for me because I need to be stronger, faster, and have more endurance to be sucessful on the Varsity level. I neither have the time nor money to invest in a gym or elaborate exercise equipment, so I would like a program that I can follow in my free time or during practice. Getting stronger will make me feel more confident of my skills on the mat, listening to the interviews will motivate me, and the nutrition and meal plan will help me manage my weight efficiently.
I discovered Steve Preston and his material a few months ago from a teammate. Ever since, I have read all the free tips and blog posts. I have suggested lots of things feautured in the blog to other teammates.

  3. Aaron Hines Says:

I feel that the Ultimate Wrestling Power Body Weight Training Program is the perfect choice for me becuase I am a Graduate student who is trying to further my education to become a strength coach. Through all of my research there is very little incorporating wrestling and I feel that this program can give me better insight on how to put together my own wrestling program as a strength coach. In my last semester I actually made a presentation on the sport of wrestling and most if not all of my information was based off of about five articles. So, by having all the material in this program I feel that I can be able to explain to others or even other wrestling coaches what constitutes a perfect weight training program for athletes.

  4. Kevin Jolas Says:

Steve, this material The Ultimate Power Body Weight Training program would not only assist me to further My knowledge as I train My son but it aid me as I train My High School Team. I am always looking for new methods of training the team and with such have used some of your training aids in the past. With this information I will better be prepared to face the challenge of what yo train to assist them with gaining new muscle and strength.
So if selected by you and Your wife not only with I benefit from this knowledge but so will all of My High School Wrestling teams for years to come.

    Thank You,
    Kevin Jolas

  5. Jennifer Maloney Says:

Hi Steve. I am the mother of two young wrestlers who are loving the sport and showing tremendous potential. This season, my 11 y.o. son experienced the need to drop several pounds and then maintain. My husband is an ‘old school’ wrestler and had my son in the rubber suit, sitting in a sauna, and eating next to nothing! I knew there had to be a better way. Thankfully, I found your website and we have been following some of your tips.
I know your Ultimate Power Body Weight Training Program would become the ‘Bible’ in our house and we can begin training immediately for year-round conditioning. I want my sons to continue loving the sport of wrestling in a positive and healthy way.
    Thank you!
    Jennifer Maloney

  6. SSGt Abraham Agiba Says:

Mr Preston, I would first and foremost like to personally trhank you for your day to day contributions on your newsletter, which tremendously help out wrestlers all over the country, but also people who strive to keep in shape as well. I cannot begin to imagine how much of a sacrifice you make in your day to day life to help out the lives of others, and I am sincerely grateful to you for that. I was a wrestler in high school, and your work outs, and advice and various materials have helped me out so much. After high school I joined the military, and I am currently deployed to Iraq. If chosen for the new special training program, I would be able to help out many of my fellow soldiers/ airmen at this base attain their physical fitness goals, and also build up morale here to keep fighting the good fight. Either way, god bless you for all your hard work, and thank you for all your help…

  7. ronald earle Says:

Steve, I was a high school wrestler with a winning record. I am currently a varsity wrestler at a small university without a win last season. I am on a team with a part time coach, no strength and conditioning program and am left on my own to figure everything out. As one of the only returning wrestlers the rookies look to me for guidance and I am lost myself. With the Ultimate Wrestling Power Body Weight Training Program we could really get our underfunded team turned around and let our hard work shine through. As you know competition at the varsity level requires smart physical training and smart weight cutting, which we just aren’t getting done on our own. Help me get back to my winning ways and help our whole wrestling program!

  8. Andrea Picchi Says:

    Hi Steve and Michelle,
I’m from Italy and I started to follow your program because beside the fact the I always trained very hard I always miss something for reach my goals.

So far, following your great newletter I really improved my conditioning and my overall streangh but I’m sure that have your program in my hand will give me the opportunity to pass to the next level.

Wrestling is one of the most important thing of my life, I put lot of energy into everyday but I can’t make it alone.

    Thanks in Advance.
    Andrea

  9. Tom Holland Says:

Hello Mr. Preston. My son Tom is in his second year of youth wrestling. He is 9 years old and has the heart and determination like I have never seen! Unfortunately he is the first in his family to take part in the sport. My wife and I do all we can to get him the knowledge to be a great wrestler but our resourses are limited. The ultmate wrestling power program would be the coach my son needs to achieve his full potential! He is more than willing to learn, I just need to have the answers to give him and your program would be it! Thank you for your consideration.
    Tom Holland

  10. Larry Myers Says:

Is this for me, maybe not, but it is definitely for my son. You see, he is a High School wrestler and a rather good one considering that neither his mom or myself have ever wrestled, so we do not know what is required to make him a better wrestler and I know this program will provide a way for us to help him become the best wrestler he can. Since I lost my job times have been difficult and putting money out for this program is almost impossible, so winning this for him would be the greatest thing ever. As a parent, I try very hard to give him all of the tools to help him become the best he can be and this is another attempt by me to do that, although most times I seem to come a bit short in those attempts. I am hoping this program will lead him to be one of the best wrestlers in the region. On top of that, his birthday is tomorrow, and this would make a great gift for him. Thanks for offering this giveaway and considering him and me. Have a great day!

  12. Grant Peissig Says:

Steve, First off I would like to say that I purchased your Ultimate Wrestling Strength and Nutrition Manual last year and it is some great information. I am 25 years old and in my first year as head coach for Menomonie High School in Menomonie, WI. I have taken over the program for my dad who was head coach for nine years and am currently coaching my younger brother who is a sophomore. I have been using many of your strength and conditioning tips during our conditioning period at the end of practice. I am very impressed with how our athletes have maintained strength and lost body fat, which seems to be the name of the game when it comes to losing weight for wrestling. More importatntly the kids ENJOY the workouts. They say it is a lot more fun than just running sprints back and forth across the wrestling room. Alot of times conditioning is why kids quit, but this year we have actually gained numbers because other kids can see that our wrestlers are becoming better athletes. Our program is headed in the right direction, and your strength and nutrition programs deserve some of the credit. I know you will have many worthy candidates to receive the free giveaway, so whether or not we get it I appreciate all the help you have already given us, and I look forward to learning more from you in the future.

  13. Rocci Says:

Hi Steve & Michelle, I am a uk based MMA fighter and as you may know wrestling in the UK is not that established, I love the sport and have been wrestling with my coach for 2 years. I first heard of you when I got some dvds off Brian Cain which had an interview with you on there from then I try my best to keep up with all of your info.
As I said because wrestling aint that big over here I would love to have as much to refer to as possible with regard to training, nutrition and psychology I love all aspects and have a big respect for each of the areas.
I am wanting this program for purely selfish reasons (my performance in the cage) as well as for those I train with, your hard work and years of research will not go to waste I will implement it and gain. thanks and regards

  15. Rod Conklin Says:

The “Ultimate Wrestling Power Program” is PERFECT for my youth wrestling program to enhance the full potential for 57 wrestlers. Strength training for wrestling is quickly becoming the next big way to separate wrestlers from the competition and the “Ultimate Wrestling Power Program” is the answer. Years ago strength training for wrestling was all about bodyweight exercise performed in the wrestling room after practice, however, in more recent years the importance of a good strength training for wrestlers has become more and more apparent as the top wrestlers continue to get bigger, stronger, faster, and leaner. Because strength training for wrestling is just gaining in popularity, there is not a whole lot of information available on the topic. While there are a number of things to consider from sets to reps to days/week when designing a strength training program for wrestlers, I think the most important consideration is in exercise selection which is where the “Ultimate Wrestling Power Program” stands out. Nothing is more frustrating than spending hours upon hours working technique with a wrestler because that’s something they already do in practice. I would like to introduce and recommend the “Ultimate Wrestling Power Program” to the parents of all 57 wrestlers.

  16. Austin Thomas Says:

Hello Mr. and Mrs. Preston. My names Austin and I am a junior in highschool. Im currenly wrestling for my schools varsity team. After last season, I started attending a local gym 5-6 days a week. Lifting and running in order to train and prepare for wrestling became my favorite stress releiver and eventually my passion, next to wrestling itself. Unfortunatly, I havn’t seen the results I feel I should for the time put in. Going off what little advice I can get from my coach and friends isnt working in my strength training or conditioning outside of pratice. Because I am on a competitive team, I am having to drop weight with extra cardio to fill my class. A real cardio and conditioning plan would help this process tremendously. Along with lifting and cardio, my diet plan could use serious work. With all this said, I believe that your Ultimate Power Body Weight Training Program would compleatly change for the better the way I train. I have read blogs and heard from friends who all have said your advice and products worked for them. I am a firm believer in ‘you get out what you put in’ and I can assure you a copy of your program would be put to good use. I am looking forward to useing this product in achieving my dream of a state championship. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hello , Im a jr. From Ohio, I wanted to tell you my story from what has happened to me over the past year and why this program help me. My sophomore year I made it to the D1 district tournoment where I was one match away from making it to states. I knew that I was going to work three times hard this year to make it to states. And that’s just what I did. I was more determind and had more strive to work myself to become better. I made huge strives in the weight room and on the mat. The first open tournoment I was in I beat a Fargo national wrestler my 6 pts. I was right on track and I knew that all the hard work was about to pay off this year. But that was all taken away from me the next week. On the Monday after the open tounormemt I was wrestling with my team mate when i blew out my knee. I found out that in tthat one second I had fliped my meniscus out, had two tears in it, and chiles my tibea. I had to have surgery the next week. The doctors told me I would not be able to wrestle this year. But I didn’t even take that as a choose I wouldn’t let them take my season away. The surgery went as planned and when they told me I was cleared to go home and rest I went to the high school to watch the end of practice. My coach were shocked I was there 30 mins after having surgery. I told them I wasn’t going to miss a practice and that why I was here. I would lift everyday that we had workouts and would out work everyone in the exerices I could do. At first I had to sot down to do our plate workout but I still was doing tw most presses and rows then everyone on the team. I made it my job to rehab, bend and strengthen my knee and come back this year. I would skip famil meals to do my rehab, I dont go to lunch I go to the trainer and do mote rehab. I was told over and over ” your not coming back, you won’t be back, your done, just take it easy” by everyone from my family, trainer, coaches, friends but I took this and use it as motivation to come back and prove them all wrong. This week I went back to the doctor after going thought the most painful rehab sessions ever. And I was told that I will be able to come back at the end of season. The doctor was even shocked on how well was doing and told me that I am farther ahead then anyone he had go though this. So at the end of the year I will be coming back and I need this program to help me get that one more match to make it to states even after over coming major knee surgery and being told that I wouldn’t wrestle this year.

Thanks for reading my story I hope to hear from you soon,
    Corey

    Hey Steve,
I think that I could benefit greatly from ypur top notch fitness system. Your easy weight cutting system that I already bought benefited me greatly and I would love to try this one. This is my SR year and I’m trying to get every advantage possible to make a impact since this is my last year to do it. Unfortunately I won’t be wrestling in college since I’m already signed up for the military so this is my last go.

    Thanks for you time

  19. Donald Says:

    Steve,

I’m a former high school wrestler and lacrosse player and I now coach high school lacrosse. Last season I took over a team that had a culture and tradition as a losing team, and I wanted desperately to change this because it’s my high school alma mater. The attitude of the players and the parents was one that seemed to accept losing, which you know as a coach is nearly impossible to overcome.

I made a huge gamble and started training my team like wrestlers, mostly using your ’63 Strength, Conditioning and Nutrition Tips’. The players had never seen anything like it before. The style and the pace seemed overwhelming to them. Some of them didn’t want to put in the work and quit. Parents were wondering what in the world was going on.

When the regular season rolled around I had a team that was hungry to go out and compete. We outworked everyone and won games against some better teams by breaking their own will. We made it all the way to the Pennsylvania state playoffs, something that seemed impossible after years of mediocrity.

I want your Ultimate Wrestling Strength program to improve my own training and to help my kids (my team) to become more than they had ever thought possible and to help show that wrestlers are the toughest athletes in the world!

    -Don

  20. Sherry Rukgaber Says:

The Ultimate Wrestling Power Body Weight Training program would be perfect for me because I am tired of watching my two sons starve themselves trying to make weight. Their school does not have a nutritional program for them to follow. Honestly I have one son who is 6’2″, 12 % body fat, trying to make weight for 152lbs (cutting from 160 lbs) and my younger son who is 6′, 8% body fat trying to make weight for 130 but weighs between 136-138. My boys eat well. They don’t eat a lot of junk food, no sodas which is amazing because before wrestling they were bad soda junkies. Arkansas is not a huge wrestling state (yet) so we do not have the programs set up for boys to manage their weight correctly. I try to tell them they have to eat but I am just their mom, I don’t know anything about wrestling. I’m afraid until it comes from someone who really does know what their talking about, my boys will continue to cut weight the wrong way. I believe your system would help them understand the correct way.
    Thanks for your time!

  21. Jose Arroyo Says:

Coach, (can I call you coach?) wrestling is all I have from the first day I started, I’m from a really small “town” of Kettleman City Ca. But i wrestle for my high school thirty minutes away at Coalinga High School. I’m not the smartest guy in the classroom or anywhere else but I am the hardest worker you’ll ever see. I’ve only been wrestling for a couple years, five but have been on varsity up to my junior year now. To tell you the truth I have been doing it all wrong like starving, dehydrating, and over training which all leads to not being able to concentrate in class, not wanting to do chores not wanting to do anything really. The Ultimate Wrestling Program is perfect for me because it’s what I need to not only become a better wrestler but become a better student, son, and teacher (which is what I want to do out of college… History or P.E.) thanks for your time and your website its been a lot of help.

  22. Dale Cannuli Says:

    Hello Steve,
My name is Dale Cannuli, and I am a freshman at OHCHS (Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School) located in Oxford, Maine. The reason I believe that why “The Ultimate Wrestling Program” is perfect for me is because of my strive to be the best I can be. Before going to high school, I attended a small private school for year 1-8, never playing a sport except for town baseball in the spring. I was never pushed to work hard, getting mediocre grades from grades 2-6, but that turned around my seventh grade year. I was also out of shape up until my seventh grade year. In my eighth grade year, I took it upon myself to start lifting weights and running, and in the spring of that year I broke my 83 year old school record for the mile run in hiking boots (5:32) and also got the illustrious presidential fitness award I had been striving for. I enrolled in football and, in my first year, became a starting defensive end and tight end, playing tail back whenever ours was too injured. My first month in a public school and I became student of the month (Class A high school) and have earned the friendship and respect of many of my peers and all of my teachers. I’ve always had a knack for wrestling, so I decided in the winter I would join the school’s wrestling team. After four days of practice, I went up against last year’s state champion for the 171 weight class. I was pinned within the first minute. My pride was not hurt though, and I won my third match against a junior. I have been winning matches against upper class man and destroying sophomores and freshman whom I wrestle with. I am a first year, 6 foot 1, and a freshman wrestling 171. Well, I did wrestle 171. A senior during a massive tournament picked me up and slammed me to the mat, tearing my rotator cuff. I am now out for the season. I seek this strength training program for when my shoulder heals, because although I am at a disadvantage, I know that I have what it takes to be a state champion. I also know that your program might be what I need to truly become a monster on the mat for seasons to come.
    Sincerely,
    Dale Cannuli

  24. Andrew D Says:

My boys 14 & 8 started wrestling 2 years ago. After my older boy (currently 5′ 10” and 113 lbs) broke his elbow in a tournament 14 months ago and had a screw permanantly put it in it, I saw that although they were consisently progressing with the wrestling they were definitely lacking in the strength category compared to their teamates and opponents. So we agreed to start hitting the weights last March five days a week.
My older boy went from 95 lbs to 120 lbs from March to November and made some serious strength gains to start his freshman season. My 8 year old has also made incredible gains and can even do 171 consecutive push-ups now.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t possible to keep up the lifting routine once High School season started, and without even trying my older boy lost 8 pounds in 3 weeks. Although he made the Varsity team at 112′s and actually won 5 out of his first 7 matches, he recently suffered a partial tear in his rotator cuff tendon wrestling a much stronger 125 pounder in practice, and is now out for the season and on physical therapy for the next 8 weeks.
My boys are willing to put in the time and work hard, but it seems like a waste to put in 8 months of effort, and not be able to keep it up during season. We obviously need a different approach :-)

    Andrew

  25. Cassie Says:

    Dear Steve,

Wrestling has made an immense impact on my life over the past two years. It is the only sport that has pushed me harder to go that extra length, pressure me to cut weight, drive me to lift that extra pound, and influence me to be explosive in each and every match.
I am a junior in highshool and am beginning my second season season as one of the only female wrestlers on the team.
This being said; I find it discouraging being on a male dominant team.
I find the guys don’t understand just how serious I am when it comes to this incredible sport and, just like them, I hate to lose.
I’ve been training for a long time but it still seems like it’s never enough.
It doesn’t matter how much I beat the other girl, in practice or on the mat, nothing ever seems good enough.
There is this constant feeling and yearning of proving myself to my male team mates.
I have sincere hopes that your program could be the missing factor I need to break through to the male dominance of my team and show them that women can excel incredible lengths when pushed incredible amounts in an incredible sport,

    Thank you very much,
    Cheers.

  26. Glen Kurz Says:

When I took over as the head wrestling coach at Westfield High School (NJ) 12 years ago, the program was in shambles. We were on the brink of being eliminated and morale was terrible. Kids did not believe in off-season work and did not understand the commitment that the sport requires. Although it has been a slow process, we have made huge strides in our program. Kids have bought into the system are have made a year round commitment to improving their technique and strength training. I try to provide as many different ways for the kids to train and am always looking to learn more myself. We currently strength train differently in the preseason, during the season, and in the offseason. I would love to see what you program can offer to enhance what we are doing. We have invested in quite a bit of equipment and have access to a complete weight room, tires, sledgehammers, plyometric equipment, sleds, kettlebells, and tools to work on core stability. I have read a lot of your material and it seems that we have similar philosophies on the sport. I’m sure both my wrestlers and I would benefit greatly
    from your program.

  27. Jim Harms Says:

I’m assistant coach at a Catholic school that I may take over someday. I would like to provide these boys with the knowledge and information that would make them better and successful wrestlers.
I believe that your Ultimate Wrestling Power Manual can help me pass along the necessary information that would not only make them stronger but more confident. I am always looking for new ideas when it comes to weight training, especially for wrestling, that would allow these boys to gain the strength they need that would hopefully translate into wins that may lead to qualifying for our state tournament.
Nutrition needs to be explained to them in terms of in and off season choices to improve their optimal performance, especially when the time comes to push themselves and their opponents to the breaking point. Your Meal Plan and Nutrition System can help do that.
Your conditioning program would be important for them because we have a limited about of space (we share it with our weight room). I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, but to incorporate the two would increase the wrestlers conditioning and strength levels. Having wrestling specific lifting and conditioning drills would increase their skills.
We’re a fairly successful program now. But as you know, you are only as good as your weakest link. Everyone, even our best wrestlers, still need to improve and I believe that your programs will help us reach their individual and our team goals.

  28. Becki Says:

    Hi Steve,

I am writing on behalf of my son, Joe. He is 15 and a freshman. This is his first official year of wrestling and he is competing at the Varsity level. I am always looking for information for him, as his dad and I are totally new to wrestling. I find wrestling a unique sport as it is both individual and team. And that is why I write to you asking for Joe to be considered in your give away. While I know this program would be a powerful tool in taking his wrestling to a new level, it would also directly impact his team as well. And there is no greater gift than one that can help as many people as possible! Joe is fortunate to be surrounded by helpful young men who have taken him under their wing. I would love for him to give back to his team. Thank you for offering this opportunity!
    Becki

  29. Kirsten Says:

    Steve,

My 11 y.o. son is a dedicated wrestler that’s been inspired by both an Olympic medalist and UW-Madison coach. He has set his own goals, developed a workout plan, and is tracking his nutrition and weight. We live in a small rural area with very limited access to high-quality face-to-face leadership and information. Your website and downloads have become one of our go-to sources. Your training program would provide him with the knowledge and expertise to “do it right”. This will set him up for long-term success, without risking injuries or jeopardizing his health, growth, or nutrition.

  30. Tom Says:

    Steve,

Thanks for the opportunity to possibly win this program. As someone who coaches and competes in grappling, I fully identify with the great Vince Lombardi, who said, “Fatigue makes cowards of us all.” If a grappler is not completely physically prepared, they are unable to perform technical skills, make their strategy work or even think straight. Training for combat sports is not a static endeavor, and the tips that you’ve shared up to this point through your newsletter strongly reinforce that belief. Only through perpetual change will a grappler reach their full potential. I need your help in elevating a certain young man to his full potential. He is 15 years old and this is his first year wrestling. What he lacks in skill and technique he more than makes up for in heart and determination. His goal is to be accepted to West Point to proudly serve his country. One aspect that would help him achieve this is by being an outstanding wrestler. He’s at a severe disadvantage. Many kids that he wrestles against have a decade of experience on him, and his strength and conditioning are average, at best. There’s no doubt in my mind that this young man will be an outstanding leader one day, and I feel that your program could be the launch pad to his success. Thanks for your consideration.

    Kindest Regards,

i believe that your program is right for me because i need an advantage in wrestling. i know that skill will beat strength almost every time, but i have only been wrestling for 2 years. since college wrestlers will be better than me skill wise ( at least in the beginning, since i am gonna train non-stop until im the best), i believe you and anything you make can help me with the strength. i am confident with you i will have the wrestling specific strength i need to have some edge. that’s why i believe you’re program was meant for me. and i know the people you give it to will have an advantage in wrestling. . i also plan on being a wrestling nutrition and fitness specialist when im older. have a good day and keep up the good work

  32. Cesar Says:

This program would be a great asset for me and the kids I work with at the local parks in inner city Los Angeles. I’m a counselor for the school district and after hours I serve as an impromptu volunteer conditioning coach for kids wanting to prepare themselves for their particular sport. Most of our work is done at the park or football field with no equiptment what so ever. The bodyweight program would be a real booster for us. thanks

  33. Greg Connors Says:

Hello Steve, this program would be essential to me because i tried the traditional way of getting strength (barbells) and it has not translated on the mat very well. I am stiff and i feel this added muscle only adds weight. By winning this giveaway i will not only be able to take my mat performance to the next level but also my teams( i am the captain), By using this program myself and the team will greatly increase our power without the gym memberships that some teammates cant afford. Thank you for reading steve i will continue to read your blog regardless of this.

    Thank you, Greg Connors

  34. Jeff Says:

I want to win. I keep coming in second and third in my school district tournaments and so need to elevate my game. I’m a sophomore in high school and absolutely believe i can learn to win but need a program that will give me an advantage over my competition. I believe in myself and I believe your program would give me the guidance, motivation, and proven techniques to increase my strength, increase my stamina, and give me the confidence to go out on the mat and win. I want to win… it is as simple as that. Thank you for your great work!

  35. Zander B. Robinson Says:

    Mr. Preston,

I am a 19 year old Canadian University wrestler, I wrestle for Lakehead University a top wrestling school in my country. I wrestle at the national level, I have paid my dues in the athletic world in terms of hard times, hard training and hard work, unlike most of the other candidates I posses an attribute that distinguishes why I should be worthy of winning a copy of your Ultimate Wrestling Power Program, I am neither a retired athlete/coach nor an aspiring adolescent wrestler, I am a high level wrestler who needs such a product to take my self to the next level in terms of competitive advantage. Please do not mistake this for arrogance, I take this position because firstly young adolescents need basics nothing fancy or too complicated and secondly lets face it coaches or retired athletes who want this product to get in shape misunderstand its primary niche in terms of demographics and also as for coaches using it as a training tool with their teams should not be recognized as a legitimate entry for the contest due to capital possessed by clubs, I am an individual amateur wrestler not the coach of a private/college/community sponsored club. They have the necessary resources to procure your program where as an individual I do not. Digressing from my initial argument my university (Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada) is hosting the provincial championships (OUA’s for the province of Ontario) this year which is equivalent to your state championships in the United States of America and we are also hosting the national university championships (CIS for all Canadian University) the pressure of these two ominous championships rides on the shoulders of myself and the other wrestlers, your program I strongly believe would be a valuable asset to my training regimen and over all performance, I hope you select me for one of the free copies because it would potentially contribute and/or facilitate the creation of a national champion. In conclusion I thank you and hope I will make your selection.

    Zander Robinson, aspiring champion.

  36. Patrick Langlinais Says:

I am writing on behalf of my gradson. This is his second year into high school wrestling and he is so frustrated with the coaching staff not spending enough time teaching them techniques and weight traning. They are volunters and have a limited knowledge. My grandson is winning about 30% of his matches, but can’t seem to win the close matches. He just cannot compete due to his strength and/or technique. I am giving him the daily tips that you send me and he is really learning and implementing some of your suggestions. I really feel the Technices Ultimate Wrestling Power Manual will help him to become a better wrestler. He would share the manual with the coaching staff and that would help all the boys on the team. Thanks so much for sending me your daily tips.

  37. Candice Dobson Says:

The reason why it would be perfect from me is I was 222 lbs fat, pure fat, and now I am 160 pure muscle, but I would love to post my strength not only that I have wanted to wrestle for WWE since I was 3. I am going to school to focus on script writing for them, but I would love to not just have the knowledge but the physical strength as well to prove I know all there is to know about wrestling, not just mentally but physically, and that is my goal. A wise wrestler by the name of Triple H once said “never let anyone tell you that you cant do something. If you want something go for it.” and thats a motto I hold true to. I work out everyday, occasionally throwing in the Triple H burn super set program, and I used to wrestle in highschool, the only girl on the wrestling team. For a girl, I think I have a strong strength level, but a person can always improve upon their strength level, and increase their goals. There is always something you can add to spice up your routine and really shock those muscles, and increase not only definition but your strength. Working out at 165 lbs mean nothing, if you can do sixty lbs perfect form. You have to have the form.

  38. Josh Trygstad Says:

    Mr. Preston,
This Ultimate Wrestling Power giveaway would be perfect for me because I am entering the second semester of my junior year as an Assistant Wrestling Coach and Team Captain at Northland International University. (NCWA North-East Region) I have been reading your newsletters for the past few years and benefited from your strength and conditioning insights. I have also been passing them on to my team and utilizing select drills and routines in our workouts. Technique has always been the strong point in my wrestling history but strength, conditioning, and nutrition continue to be the weakness for myself and my team. This package would benefit myself and my team in this season and the next and will certainly carry into my coaching career as our institution grows its relatively new wrestling program. As the team succeeds, our institution will provide increased funding and thereby increased opportunities for the wrestlers here. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter.
    Sincerely,
    Josh Trygstad

  39. Albert Alvarez Jr Says:

I believe that I should have a copy of your Ultimate Wrestling Power Body Weight program for my son because I’ve always stressed body weight exercises with him. This is my son’s first year of wrestling as a sophmore and he is strong. I attribute this to body weight training. I’ve always stressed that before moving on to weight training. He needs additional advanced training with regards to his athletic ability so that he can continue to excel at wrestling. I believe your program will excel him to the next level of his wrestling goals and life journey.

  40. Luis Gartiz Says:

I believe the Ultimate Wrestler program would take my program to the next level. We decided a couple years ago that we were going to build a program the traditional way by developing our own wrestlers from 6th grade to seniors and not resort to illegal recruiting. We have a dedicated group of middle and high school wrestlers who would benefit from having a unique workout just for wrestlers. They train hard and have great cardio conditioning but lack the overall body power needed to be explosive and dominant. The nutritional information is priceless because as a coach I am still learning about the benefits of proper nutrition. Our middle school wrestlers would benefit greatly from the body weight exercises because we have limited access to workout equipment. I think that by being able to start the middle school wrestlers with these workouts would make the program develop quicker and be able to compete at a higher level sooner.

  41. Jared Webb Says:

Mr. Preston, I am a second year high school wrestler who has the drive to be better, but I lack the guidance to get there. My Coach is always telling me, “Jared, I love watching you wrestle because you always fight until the end,” and I believe him, but recently he has told me to stop making excuses and just go out there hog wild and man handle the kid. Every time I do that though I always end up being over powered by the guy and lose after a long a rigorous match. Furthermore, I end up getting lectures from my Dad after every meet because he seems to think that I can just flip a kid over at anytime I want and pin him. Additionally, what really gets on my nerves is that every Saturday my friends go out there, tear it up, and win medals (some of them don’t even work as hard as I do). That makes me go home discouraged after they brag about their medals. My other coach has tried to encourage me to get drop down to 119 so that I can wrestle kids that are hopefully either weaker or equally matched with me. If I were to receive a free copy of this ULTIMATE WRESTLING PROGRAM I feel that it would help me a lot in achieving my goals for this season, which is to win a medal in a tournament, earn respect from the people that make fun of me, and drop down to 119, so I can dominate.

  42. nato Says:

first i will just like to tell who i was last year and the person i turned out to be this year
Freshman year I wasnt anything special I beat a senior for the varsity position and from their it went all down hill. I was getting man handled by everyone i versed my confidence was low and that made my performance even worse not mentioning i didnt not weight train.

So I decided to change my ways and started to do my research for wrestling workout programs and stumbled upon one of the the best thing that happened to me your website .To wrap it up my confidence is through the roof and im strong as I can be. My bench went from 135 to 215 in 4 months my squat increased 150 pounds and so far im undefeated and i owe it all to you.

i told my coaches about this website and we saw the flaws in our practice and fix them acorrding to your tips now our team is in great shape
    yours truley,
    Shehab Natour

  43. nato Says:

just from those free tips you helped me more than and was one of the best things i ever stumbled upon.
freshman year only won two varsity matches after idiscoverd your tips and trained according to you said in those tips. I am now an undefeated sophmore and captain of my squad plus i am one strong son of a gun thanks to your program.

just from those free tips I improved darasticlly only imagine if I was chosen to
recieve your program …(watch out,we might just have another dan gable on your hands lol)
love to hear from you soon,
    shehab

  44. Drake Says:

Honestly I’ve stumbled on this website and I was impressed by the tips, and i have followed them. Although sadly this season I have, for the first time, missed a season of wrestling due to a sprained elbow, torn rotor cuff, and such. I still want to train in offseason for wrestling next year (senior year), and also, but this is probably irrevelant to even this contest but the reason I feel that this would be beneficial is because I have signed up with Teen Missions International, to go to Africa to help AIDS orphans. I have signed up on the Kilimanjaro Backpack Team 2011. This team is supposedly the most rugged and brutal team Teen Missions has to offer, we will be trained at Boot Camp (bricks in our full frame backpacks) and we will have to constantly be running through the Obstacle Course they have there in Merritt Island, Florida. It obviously is not a pamper camp for teens. We, then will fly to Tanzania and hike to remote villages around Mt. Kilimanjaro helping the AIDS orphans by building AORU’s (AIDS Orphan Rescue Units) and new playgrounds, and fences. This is why I would view winning this prize a double bonus, one I would be able to train offseason and catch up of what I’ve missed this year in wrestling, and also prepare for the rigors of being on Kilimanjaro Backpack Team. This is why I feel I would deserve to win the prize which you are generously giving away.

  45. Jesse Says:

    Dear Steve:

Your free tips have made great improvements on my wrestling performance. I feel that I owe it to my team to share it with them and my coaches last year I didn’t get to wrestle varsity as a freshman, but this year after reading your free tips I came in 4 on a varsity tournament and my record has more than 3 times the wins of last year.

  46. Patrick Says:

    Hey steve,
I belive that your book of your ultimate nutrution would benifit me greatly! I am a wrestler in hight school. Me being realitively new to the sport and need any advantage I can get to make my way to the state finals. The weekly tips you give a bigger help than you relize. The fact that i have something to just help me separate what works from what doesnt. Its great that someone acualy shows wrestliers of the world the healthy way to eat and train. This system along with hard work and determination gives wrestlers the results they need to be the best!

  47. Joshua Says:

I used to live in bridgeport Chicago and wrestled for a program ran through St. Ignatious High School, and i wrestled with casts on both legs. As you may imagine, this was no easy task, but i did what i thought was the best i could. I won the citywide tournament ran through the chicago park districts. I moved out to naperville, illinois 6 years ago and got a ankle construction surgery on both ankles so i did not wrestle in middle school and come freshmen year (last year) i entered to Metea Valley Highschool as it was its first year. I went to the top of varsity at 171, 189 for confrence and came out 2nd. I have overcome many surgical operations, and to push my body to these limits is extrodinary for me. I want to next year be at the top in the district, as we compete agains some of the hardest schools in the Upstate-8 confrence (Montini, Nequa, Lake park). I plan on entering the navy after graduation, so i have used your programs to be in the best shape for now, but my future goals to be at the top preformance my body can be pushed to in the best form i can.
Thank you for all your help,
    Joshua

  48. Haroon Says:

    Hello Mr. Preston,
I am a fifteen year old legally blind high school freshmen wrestler living in California. Being legally blind means that though I am not completely blind, and am still eligable for special services from the government because my corrected vision is still REALLY bad. This really impares my wrestling because I am not able to see what the other guy is doing, therefore my sparawls and other defensive moves are late. My strength, is then what becomes the eciding factor in whether I can be a defensive wrestler or not. Also since I’m the only 153 pounder on the team, I automatically get to wrestle varsity.
I think the Ultimate Wrestling Power giveaway would be perfect for me because I really need to increase my strength to be able to wrestle. I have been subscribed to your website for a lond time and have used many of the tips that you have perscribed, but I think that this program will be a very good way for me to increase my potential for the rest of my wrestling career.

  49. Will Yea Says:

    Dear Steve Preston,
This is my third year wrestling as a Junior in high school. When I was a freshmen, I was one of the worst and weakest person on the team. (I was 5’11 with 2% bodyfat) But I did not quit the sport, like most people. After my first match, I started working harder than everyone else. I stayed after practice for 30 minutes everyday. I had zero wins my freshmen year, but i saw my abilities and strength improving. After wrestling season, I kept wrestling and I started to lift weights. I continued this until preseason. I was surprised that I was actually beating people that were better than me last year. This boosted my confidence. I kept working really hard, drilling and staying after practice. Last summer, i continued to work hard. Now as a junior, I have a winning record, and coaches say I am good. But I still have A LOT to work on. I need to know what to drill, and how to be an overall stronger wrestler. I am still struggling with a lack of confidence in myself. I also need to know what weights I should lift. The Ultimate Wrestling Power Body Weight Training program is perfect for me, because I have the dedication to actually do the things on it, and with the help of your program, I might be able to be state champion next year. After, I will use your program to help coach other wrestlers.

  50. Chris Says:

This program will help benefit me, because I wrestled back in high school and loved the sport! I am now competing in amateur wrestling tournaments years later to relive the glory days all over again. I placed first just last year in the 145 lb. weight division! I plan on competing again in another weight division in an upcoming tourney this year. This program is perfect and will condition me to reach my goals even faster for this tourney! I love all of the newsletters that are sent to me in my inbox and I trust that your product is the real deal! I am combining bodyweight conditioning and MMA style workouts into my regimen and it’s helped immensely for me thus far! Benefiting from this program can def. help me place first again in another weight division. I am also studying the sport further learning the rules of referees which I plan on being a part of this year…possibly next yr. Doing this will open more doors for me to even do some coaching of the sport as well!

  51. Richard Dabbs Says:

I feel that the Ultimate Wrestling Power Body Weight Training Program is perfect for me because coaching at a High School with over 85 percent of our student body comes from households which make minimum wage or less I have to use bodyweight training and isometrics training to help get our team stronger. Your programs have our team on the raise. In three short years we have gone from only having 6 wrestlers out for the team to being ranked in the top10 in our class in Oklahoma. I am consistently searching for information to help our team reach there potential. I must give you and your web blog credit for our quick raise out of the cellar. Your blogs help us stay focus on up to date training and nutritional needs. I am looking forward to sharing your book.

  52. Mike N. Says:

Throughout my journey for Gold, I’ve stumbled upon many lessons which have helped me improve not just in wrestling, but in LIFE itself. Out of all the little gems I call “Ideals”, one has always stood above the rest; be the best that you can be-ALWAYS! I have followed this MANIFESTO, this WAY OF LIFE for three years. It is because of this ideal that I am here now. I come from a small school located in the ghetto. Our room is the size of half a mat and our team is even smaller. However, I’ve worked TOO HARD to give up on my dreams of becoming a CHAMPION. I’ve given up the last few years of my LIFE trying to reach this goal. I’ve spent countless hours each and every day on the mats AND gym working towards my dream. I’ve spent just as much time RESEARCHING as I have PRACTICING, always trying to find new techniques and methods to become a BEAST. Such methods I incorporate now are Mr. Steve Preston’s very own. It’s because of this that I ask you to consider me as a hopeful giveaway winner. Although there are no “Magic Pills” or “Shortcuts”, I believe your program will give me an extra tool in the shed that’ll help me to become the champion I know I can be. It’s my senior year and becoming the ABSOLUTE BEST is more than just a want, it’s a NEED. It’s a PRIMAL INSTINCT!

  53. julio Says:

K.I.S.S , so i figure id keep it simple , im a first year freshman, league starts thursday, and i need all the tips i can get my grip on, if i use all your tips for the next four years i can go to our section an hopefully even state(im in california). thanks for listening

  54. Chris Chorzepa Says:

    Hi Steve,
I am a pretty competitive wrestler, but I am missing a certain something, and this Ultimate Wrestling Power program will take care of that something. I have been doing fairly well with my technique and intangibles, but when I do lose, it is almost always at least partially due to the other man being stronger. Basically, I can out-wrestle the other man but get out-muscled and still lose. This actually happened last weekend in a very important match… I have come a long way recently by working out more and eating better following your other programs, but I am still definitely not where I want to be yet. I have also grown from 125 last year to 152 and 160 this year, and grew 6 inches. I used to be able to make up for my lack of strength by scrambling and being a funky wrestler, but now, as I am bigger this is harder to do. There is more mass to move, so I can’t do the little funky things that I used to do. I am going through an adjustment period, and this Ultimate Power Wrestling program would help speed it up. This program would fulfill my needs and finally make me the complete wrestler that I have been trying to be for a long time.

  55. Candice Dobson Says:

Just something I forgot to mention. I also have nonverbal disorder which is something ive had to overcome in my life, as its incurable but I deal with it. Bodybuilding, wrestling, working out helps teach me to have goals because a body builder, you set small goals that realistic, I could really use this book to further my study into working out and applying it to wrestling.

  56. Ben Says:

I am a middle school head coach and a high school assistant wrestling coach for a team that has had the worst record in the state, and regularly comes in last in tournaments, whether dual or individual. Currently in the high school there is a culture of losing that is so prevalent that wrestlers are happy making weight, rather than winning a match. The few who do wish to perform better are often hindered by a team, school and culture that does not encourage athletics. I will use your Ultimate Wrestling Power system to create a level of confidence in our wrestlers that they can overcome the existing culture, and change it to one of champions both at the middle school and high school level. I know your products are of good quality since I have been using your blog information throughout the season and the results have been outstanding.

  57. Michael Says:

Wrestling is more than a sport, it’s a way of LIFE. I’ve been living through the Wrestler’s Manifesto for four years and as such I have always followed the number one ideal: Strive to be the best that you can be. Throughout my quest to become an absolute BEAST, I have stumbled upon many regimens which include DeFranco’s, Even-Esh, and Mr. Steve Preston himself. I have incorporated these techniques into my program to be the best that I can be. It is now my senior year and I plan to become a champion. It’s more then a NEED, it’s a WANT-a PRIMAL INSTINCT. There are no “Magic pills” or “Shortcuts”, but I believe your tried-and-true programs are just another tool in the shed for me to use in my journey to CONQUER LIFE. I will OUTWORK anyone in order to become what I envision I can be, and it all starts with this: A program I know I can trust and believe in. Thank you.

  58. Christian Solis Says:

    Dear Mr. Preston
I may not be the smartest or toughest wrestler out there but i honestly appreciate all the time you put in making and writing all these tips, videos, and diets. I wrestle for a team that barely started a few years back and all of us are still fairly new to this sport. Most of us probably dont know what it means to commit and never give up, but your blog has helped me improve in ways that i couldnt imagine. i lost all my matches my 10th grade and as a senior, im finally wrestling how i always imagined myself in the future. Through my junior year up to now, i would always look back to your blog and re read all the tips as if its my favorite book. In every practice, match, and tournament i think back to all the work i have put in and everything i have practiced on. Most of the tips come from here and i wouldn’t be where im at without your help. Im currently 18yr old wrestling as a senior, and would like to say your free help has always been great to me and never has let me down. Wrestling has been a life changing experience for me winning this contest would surely help me with my own lifestyle. So, thank you Mr. Preston and all your hardwork.

  59. mark chitty Says:

Congratulations on the new book Steve cant wait to get a copy of it!!!!!!!

  60. Jude Carrecter Says:

If you get too close to such individuals, then it can trigger some danger to life and property that belongs to you. If you are staying in a house that has location for much more people, you have to make certain that you rent out the house only after correct enquiries have been made about the person who will be moving into your home. The best technique to learn about the person is to search about the individual. To learn if the person has had a criminal past, you have to make sure that you do a routine Background Check in the records that are accessible. There are different kinds of records that are accessible. Some of them are available with the states and the others are national databases that have particulars of the criminal past of people.
